Becoming Healthy

I met this guy a while ago, and let's be honest, I was kinda diggin' the guy.
Well, that didn't work out. But don't worry about it because I got something out of it.
BIKRAM YOGA.
Holy crap.
Have you ever gone swimming and dropped your towel in the pool? (Or had it thrown in by someone who thinks they are funny?) That is how wet my towel was. At least it was as wet as that after you wring it out.
Not one part of my clothing was dry. I'm dryer when I get out of the shower.
At certain times weird places were tingling, as if asleep. For example, the front of my ankles, or my upper chest.
Did I mention Bikram Yoga is done in a 110 degree room?
I only felt as though I were going to die for about two minutes.
The rest of the time I just felt as though I were going to pass out.
I'm going again tomorrow morning at six.

Oh yeah, been there, done that! I did "hot yoga" for a while but then it got to be too expensive and it really took alot of time out of my evening. When you first walk into the room it totally takes your breath away but you feel so good afterwards.

I'm very impressed Fress, way to go! My sis-in-law is a pilates insructor and way into yoga too. She was telling me about that bikram, sounds like suicide if you ask me:) and you're going to have to reply to my emails if thats all the info we are going to get about "this guy you were kinda diggin'":)

And passing out is good? I love yoga, I am not sure about the bikram. What is the benefit of that heat?

Fressia. This is Chad, by the way. Chad Cardon, originally of West Warren, Utah; that podunk town west of Plain City, that other podunk town where you used to live. Megan was looking through some of her friends' blogs and came upon yours. I just wanted to say hi. You look great, and it sounds like you're doing well. I don't have a blog, but Megan may be working on one soon. And I don't want to leave my email here for everyone to see, (Megan just laughed and said I was a paranoid nerd). But, I'll check back later and let you know if we do this blog thing. (Again, the paranoid nerd thing).
P.S. Megan wants to know if your socks match your underwear today. Ha!

HOLY CRAP! Chad Cardon! No way! I'm assuming Megan is your wife - Megan who? And to answer her question - I don't wear socks anymore...
I have to say you are the biggest blast from my past that has found my blog! Email me! fressiadiane@gmail.com, I'm dying to find out who your wife is...

Shiree - the benefit to the heat is A) increased range of motion B)cleansing - you sweat out all the toxins in your body. I'm kind of getting to be a "cleansing" freak. I'm all into it even though I love my diet soda and donuts. Asha, I'll email you, I promise. Just not sure when. I thought life would become less busy but it hasn't yet. I will get to it though.

WOW....lots of people are finding you! ;) So....you're done with school, right? What happened with all this "new found spare time" you were going to have? I'm guessing you're not spending it on blogging. :) Can't wait to hear what's been going on, how you stand Arizona summers, if you're still doing yoga, and all the hot men you're dating. So let's get to updating your blog and clueing in all your fans. :)
